I bought this as a Christmas present for me, because he was a high price and have the money for Christmas. I have a Compaq computer from which he would never let me down, but do not cut it had no power adequate treatment (1.2 GHz and 512 RAM easy).

I bought this for my husband for Christmas Tobisha 2009 and three months later, he walks and he was just a white screen. We tried everything we knew to do, then I called the Toshiba service center. I was once told that the computer was still under warranty. Then I said that would probably cost around 425.00 to fix the problem. $ 425.00 to fix a laptop that cost me $ 279.00. I asked him what good if the warranty does not cover everything. All I gave was to run. So, now my weight is $ 279.00. So my advice is to stay away from Toshiba.

My grandparents, less than two years Compaq has decided to give out very soon. He had similar problems with what the Xbox 360 have, if your curiosity. This is a semi-fixed now, but this is irrelevant: P Anyway, I found one of these at Best Buy for $ 320, then give shot. I was a bit 'disappointed when I realized that lacks a core duel, but frankly the new Celeron are miles ahead of previous models.
