My goal was to buy a Mac that was able to play all the games of the current generation (in 2010). I owned an Acer TravelMate 4011, the first was only good for surfing, Microsoft Office stuff and watch movies at low resolution. It 'was ok at first, but gradually its limits came to me. Unbelivable that Macs do not support AVCHD or Blu-Ray nativelly. People who bought an HD camcorder in the last three years will be frustrated trying to use mac video edit there. Apple's solution is to use one there own codec, which produces a video or very bad qualty standard definition, or create large files to 5 times the original size. How ironic beautiful 1080p screen, but you can look at BluRay disc, but you need to buy high-definition movies from Apple Store, or spend hundreds more on the software and drive 'a disgrace. Even worse, deliberately mutilated the DVD drive, using a function called Riplock which slows the DVD link, if you want to backup your DVDs. I gues you return to the window, until Apple resolves these issues

When I went into a limited number of Best Buy to buy a new laptop, I had a lot of appeal to a Dell absitively that looked pretty appealing. When I asked the seller to do it for me, he said not to buy. He said that if they are on the way to $ 1000 + record on a computer to get a Mac. So I did, and I expect that the computer is more beautiful than I possessed at any time!
